Your timing was classless

Letter to the Editor:
I am writing to express my extreme displeasure with the Rainy River Record for the poor taste that was shown by running a front page negative story about the grandson of one of Rainy River's much loved and highly respected residents the day before her funeral.
Your timing was classless.
The lack of compassion shown to Vivian's family and friends while they were mourning their loss was inexcusable and doesn't reflect well upon your paper.
Rainy River is a small town and everyone knew about the story. It wasn't headline breaking news. Would it have hurt you to wait a week before publishing this story?
It is sad that sensationalism and lack of consideration took over good judgement. We expect more from a local paper.
