Glen Stewart Armstrong, 59

Surrounded by love and family by his side, it is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Glen Armstrong on April 16, 2015 at the age of 59.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank (Bud) and Della Armstrong, brother Donald (Duck) Armstrong, sister-in-law Roxanne Armstrong and most recently, his mother in law Peggy Murray.
Glen is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lisa, and his loving children, Chad Armstrong, and Natasha (Ryan) Lamoureux. Also left behind with fond memories of their cherished "Papa" are Glen's grandchildren, Taryn and Evan. He is also survived by his siblings, Reed (Angie) Armstrong, Bonnie (Howard) Crowe, Wallace (Susan) Armstrong, Cheryl (Gary) Kreger, and in-laws Dawn (Jim) Jarvis, Vaughn (Melanie) Murray and Wendy (Rick) Gubersky. Missing him too are many nieces and nephews and the extended families that will cherish their memories of Glen.
Glen worked hard, loved much and lived life to the fullest. First and foremost, Glen was a family man. He devoted himself to his wife, children and grandchildren, working hard to provide for them, and enjoying to the utmost, the time he was given to spend with them.
Overwhelmed by the support of his family, friends and staff at the Intensive Care Cardiac Unit, Asper Institute, we extend our sincere appreciation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Asper Research Centre, Winnipeg, MB or c/o Northridge Funeral Home, Box 89, Emo, Ontario, P0W 1E0.
