Kids Tournament fun for all!

Despite a cool, brisk breeze and overcast skies which threatened rain,  86 junior anglers aged 1-17 came out to test their luck and skill in the KidSport Kids Fishing Derby. The first flight of fishing got underway at 11:00 with 42 anglers 6 years old and younger lining the docks. The first fish  of the contest was caught just 2 minutes in and a total of 2 fish were caught in the half hour contest.  Taylor Brusven (6) earned the trophy for biggest fish with her catch, a 21 inch Northern,  and Sophia Usiski received recognition for catching a 13” Bass.
