Beverage Tournament
There was a good turn out on August 7th for the annual Beverage Tournament. 52 golfers played as couples in the event which featured 9 holes of scramble and 9 holes of alternating shot. Dewey Beckel and Sue LaValla turned in the top score of the day with an impressive, 2 under par, 70. The handicap division was taken by Glenn and Kris Borgen with a net score of 69.8. We will also be putting on a 4-person couples scramble on Saturday, September 11th at Oak Harbor golf course.
Junior Tournament
Oak Harbor’s Junior Club Championship was held on Thursday, August 5th. Bill Brown claimed the Boys Championship while Sydney Hufnagle earned the Girls title. Sixteen juniors participated in the tournament.

Senior Club Championship
On August 14th, the Senior Club Championship was decided in a closely contested battle. Ron Mondor shot an 81 to defeat Ron Norquist by a single stroke. Lee Hardy won Super Senior, over 65 division with a score of 88.
