Three more file for office in RR

With the deadline to file nomination papers for municipal offices looming this Friday, three more citizens threw their names into the hat this past week.
Joining Incumbent Mayor Deb Ewald on the slate are:
-Incumbent Gord Armstrong for council.
-Ashley Stamler for council.
-Michelle Abraham for School Board.
There are four seats open on council. If not enough are nominated for the positions those on the slate will be acclaimed and another call for nominations will be sent out for the remaining positions.
Other news
Monday council hired Emma Govier as Admin. Assist. at the Town office and Laurie Brown as the After School Prog. Coordinator and Pam Pearson as her Assistant.
