Armed robbery occurs in Kenora

(Kenora, ON.) On 14 Sept. at 1:00 AM OPP responded to a call of an armed robbery that occurred on Lakeview Drive in Kenora. Suspects entered a local restaurant gaining access to the office. They were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash prior to police being called. Members of Kenora detachment are being assisted by the detachment Criminal Investigations and street crimes unit.
Daylight Break and enters
Officers are investigating a number of residential break and enters which occurred throughout the city of Kenora yesterday. A numbers of residence returned home late afternoon to find their homes had been entered and searched. Suspects managed to locate cash and other miscellaneous items which were stolen. Investigation is continuing into these incidents.
