Colleges to visit RR Wednesday

September 24/10 Thunder Bay-A number of Ontario Colleges are visiting High Schools within the region, as well as in the City of Thunder Bay, as part of the annual College Information Program (CIP) tour.
Algonquin, Boreal, Cambrian, Canadore, Centennial, Conestoga, Fanshawe, Georgian, Humber*, Lambton, Northern, Sault and Confederation College will have booths at regional high schools as well as Confederation College in Thunder Bay.
Dates and times are as follows:
Wednesday, September 29 Rainy River High School 2-3:15 p.m.
Thursday, September 30 Fort Frances High School 9-10:30 a.m.
The College Information Program (CIP) tour is an outreach initiative, bringing important information about college programs and college life
to regional communities.
“High School students have a lot of questions about college. What programs are offered? How do you apply? What is college life like? What opportunities are there after graduation? We have a number of Ontario College personnel on hand to answer questions, provide information and encourage students to consider college as an option upon graduation from high school, “says Shari MacKenzie, Manager, Information Hub,Supervisor-Student Recruitment-Confederation College.
