More government services available in Rainy River

As of September 20, Rainy River residents have a newly integrated ServiceOntario centre and can access health card and driver and vehicle services under one roof.
Health card services are now available at the ServiceOntario centre at 334 Fourth Street in Rainy River. Driver and vehicle licensing services are already offered at this location.
These changes will give people access to more routine government services and better meet customer needs.
“Ontarians will benefit from a one-stop shopping experience for most health card and driver’s licence services at all of our ServiceOntario centres by the end of this year,” said Harinder S. Takhar, Minister of Government Services.

QUICK FACTS
·ServiceOntario is making it easier for people to get the government services they need by making changes to its service delivery network.
·Services are expanding at nearly 300 ServiceOntario centres across the province. Centres will offer integrated health card and driver and vehicle renewal services under one roof.
·By the end of this year, nearly 95 per cent of all Ontarians will soon be within 10 kilometres of an integrated ServiceOntario centre.
