Joan Eva Hall, 88

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joan, at the age of 88, at Riverside Health Care Facility, Fort Frances, Ontario on October 17, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Chuck, and one infant son, Brian James.
Mom was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 14, 1922. Her childhood years were spent in Lavalee and for most of her life she resided in Rainy River, Ontario. Mom was a very active member of her community. She loved playing cards and looked forward to her casino bus tours with her friends.
With all of her interests and activities, the most important part of Mom's life was her family. She was never happier than when she had a houseful of relatives. Mom is survived by her children Jan Bosma (Bob), Craig (Connie) and Jim (Denise), grandchildren Shannon, Kristen (Mike), Danielle (Pascal), Jayson, Kaitlin, Melanie and Jamie, and great-grandchildren Jonah, Telia, Shaye, Lilyan, Tanner, Halen and Liam.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Knox United Church, Rainy River.
