Pat Berg of Rainy River, is about one third of the way towards her goal to fill a barnyard in a Third World Country.
Late last week she reported that she had collected $400 in donations from local people to help her with her goal to fill a stable with animals a village can use.
The cost to do so, through well known charity World Vision, is $1,200.
Berg has been sponsoring children every month for decades. This year she decided that rather than buying gifts she would focus her giving on a village in Bangladesh.
She is not asking for big donations. Just whatever people want to give. To help her reach her goal you can call her after 6 p.m. at 852-3905.
