Ingredients needed for Rainy River centennial

Rainy River Centennial Committee
Press Release

Oh that chocolate cake Grandma used to serve on Sunday afternoon. Or how
about that big pot of baked beans Dad used to make up to take on those
camping trips.
Food stirs some of our most cherished memories- certainly with me. But then
one look and that’s obvious.
So what is more appropriate for our Centennial Year than a Centennial Cook
Book. And here’s your chance to contribute.
Tiffany Burbeck ( Murray) is collecting your all time favourite Rainy River
recipes to be published for this summer’s homecoming. This is a major
volunteer undertaking for Tiffany and since she now lives in Thunder Bay,
she needs your help collecting those Rainy River taste-tempting, gourmet
delights.
Drop boxes have been placed at the Rainy River Hospital, Heritage
Apartments, Riverview Apartments, and the Seniors’ Activity Depot.
If you are more the stamp and envelope type drop them in the mail to:

Tiffany can contact you for any clarification on your recipe And very important Tiffany needs your recipes by MARCH 1st , 2004. It’s too cold for the next month to do anything else so dig out those favourites and pass them on.
We will try to preview a few recipes in the press prior to release of theRainy River 100th Birthday Cook Book.
