Ewald re-elected President of RRDMA

For the most part the 2011 executive of the Rainy River District Municipal Association has stayed the same this year. Elections were held on Saturday at the 20th Annual Meeting of the organization in Stratton with only one office being contended.
The only office that had an election was the RRDMA’s rep. on the Northwestern Health Unit. Jim Belluz and Mike Ford ran for the post. In the end Belluz was elected.
The slate of officers for RRDMA in 2011 will be as follows:
President: Deb Ewald
Vice-Pres: Ross Donaldson
RR Valley Agri. Society: Archie Wiersema
Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association:
•NOMA Exec: Vice-Pres. Andrew Hallikas
•NOMA Bd. elected: Gord Armstrong and Gary Judson
•NOMA Bd. staff: Veldron Vogan
Safe Communities Rep.: Freeda Carmody
