Congratulations to the Baudette Bantam Bears on a great season! They finished the regular season in 1st place with a 10-1-1 record.
The Bears had a bye heading into the first round of District 16 tournament which was held in Baudette!
In the second round they faced Crookston Pirates where the Bears put on a strong performance and winning by a score of 7-1. This sent them to the championship final on Sunday.
The Bears faced Bemidji in the final which was a close game. The Bears gave up the first goal of the game in period 1, but in the second the Bears would finally get on the score board with two late period goals.
In The third period the Bears would add another and a late empty netter to win the district 16 tourney by a 4-1 score!
The bantam bears will now be heading to regionals being held in Grand Rapids the first weekend of March. This will be fun and a great experience for the boys and parents, so we (the parents) and families, friends and fans wish you all good luck at regionals!
