RR woman part of national championship hockey team

While there were not many details available at press time, the Rainy River Lady Voyageurs Hockey team won the ACHA Division 2 National championship over the weekend.
Brenley Anderson, a Rainy River Native, and daughter of Brent and Heather Anderson played on the team this year.
They travelled to Kalamazoon, Michigan over the weekend to compete in the nationals.
The Rainy River Voyaguers earned their 3rd National Title in four years with a sound victory over West Chester 8-1.
The Voyaguers came out strong and never looked back building an 8-0 lead. Rainy River was lead by Tournament MVP Jesse Baker and 1st team All Tournament Stevie-Lee Langford and Brenley Anderson.
