Walla Walla Inn still a work in progress but is open

Rumours that the plans to move the stand-alone units at the Walla Walla Inn (formerly Roadrunner Motel) will not happen are false.
Walla Walla owner, Bryce Campbell said, “For the units, we came into some delays, but the mover mapped out a new route and we now just need to apply for the permits. It is road restrictions here, so we have about two months to get the move planned now.”
As for the remaining facility, Campbell said, “ We have no plans for a grand re-opening. It’s basically up and running, we still have a lot to do. Basically it’s a work in progress! But it’s at least functioning now! We will be up there next week to finish putting together the King Room.”
The King Room is their nicest room and Campbell hopes to redo all the rooms to that standard. For now they will take care of much needed maintenance such as fresh painting, etc.
