Baudette Relay for Life

So you think you have talent? Prove it!
New to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life this year will be a Lake of the Woods Has Talent Contest and entries are now being accepted.
The event will be Saturday, Aug. 20 at Lake of the Woods County Fairgrounds.
The purpose of this contest is to raise money for the Baudette Relay For Life and to celebrate the local talent of Lake of the Woods County. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
Groups and individuals are invited to participate, in acts of all kinds. There is a $10 donation requested to enter the contest, and the winner will be given a prize at the Relay event.
The audience favorite will be determined by the number of donations provided in contestants’ named voting jars. The audience will have an opportunity to place dollar donations in the jar of their favorite contestant as a manner of voting, so tell your family and friends to come out and support you!
Organizers also ask that all performance choices, such as dance and dress, reflect consideration of our audience: people of all ages, including young children.
In case of a large number of entries, the number of contestants may be limited to those who entered early, so pick up your entry form at the following locations: Border State Bank, Wells Fargo, RiverWood Bank and The Baudette Region.
If you’ve hesitated to try your talents before, a good cause is a great reason to come on out and perform for fun and for a valuable prize. Thank you for helping to fight cancer!
