News Release
Do you have medical eye problems like abnormal vision, diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration or a family history of eye disease? Contact your family doctor, optometrist, nurse practitioner or diabetes educator for a referral to the CNIB Eye Van. An ophthalmologist will examine your eyes onsite.

The Northern Diabetes Health Network is offering diabetes education and screening services at the Eye Van location again this year as part of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care's Ontario Diabetes Strategy.
Appointments at the Eye Van are limited. Patients who need routine examination or prescription glasses should see an optometrist. Priority is given to patients with medical eye concerns and referrals.
The Eye Van visit Rainy River from July 18 to 21, 2011 and will be parked at the Rainy River Town Garage, 319 6th Street. Contact your health care provider for a referral now! Appointments fill up quickly. Visit cnib.ca for more information.
