O.P.P. to host summer camp near Fort Frances

OPP Northwest Region is hosting the OPP Youth Summer Camp at Sunny Cove Camp on Rainy Lake near Fort Frances.

The camp will take place Sunday June 26 – Saturday July 2, 2011. OPP officers have committed their time and will be spending a full week with campers ages 11 and 12 years of age from many communities throughout the North West Region.
During the camp, the youth will take part in a variety of events including outdoor orienteering and compass work with our ERT and K9 Unit, scavenger hunts and sports, bon fires and singing, swimming, youth empowerment and team building activities, houseboat tours and excursions to see a play and the July 1st fireworks celebrations.
We are very excited at the huge line up of planned events and thank our community partners who enable all campers to attend the camp at no cost.
