Frank Ernest Unger, 63

Frank Ernest Unger of Rainy River, Ontario passed away on Monday, June 30, 2003 at LaVerendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
Mr. Unger was born on October 3, 1939 in Blue Township, Ontario. He lives most of his life in the Rainy River District except for 14 years when he lived in Atikokan while working for Steep Rock Iron MInes. He enjoyed bowling and listening to music.
Frank is survived by his mother Iona Unger of Rainy River, and his 3 siblings; Irene (Bruce) Agnew of Winnipeg, Victor (Amelia) Unger of Chicago, Marion Unger of Winnipeg as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Frank Unger Sr. one brother Ernest and one sister Theresa.
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 4, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Knox United Church in Rainy River. Carolyn Kreger officiated with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Rainy River.
Friends visited with the family on Thursday, July 3, 2003 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Rainy River Funeral Home in Rainy River.
The active pallbearers were Don Selman, Willard Peters, Larry Johnson, Bob Johnson, Corrie Wiersema and John Hoosha.
The honourary pallbearers were Bruce Agnew, Peter Mykytyn, Earl Hanson, Fred Hartnell, Charles Johnson and Reg Kaus.
