Born in Vail, Iowa in her parent’s home.
She was pre-deceased by parents Goldie and Elmer Chamberlin and husband Ken.
She is survived by brother Ray Chamberlin and his wife Annabelle of Des Moines, Iowa. Daughter Nancy of Council Bluffs, Iowa- Son Mike and his wife Anne of Morson, Ontario. Grand children John, Matt, Molly and Kate. Great grandchild Kenneth.
Betty was a charter member of the Carter Lake Presbyterian Church, in Carter Lake Iowa. She was manager at the Presbyterian book store in Omaha, Nebraska for many years. She homesteaded with Ken their land in Canada in 1964 and was still active in the operation of their business, Red Wing Lodge in Morson, Ontario until this spring when several falls deteriorated her health.
A memorial service will be held this fall. Any memorial donations can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bergland, Ontario.
