Best wishes Stratton!

With age comes wisdom and change.
This weekend the residents and former residents of Stratton will celebrate in a big way all that they have learned and changed over the past 100 years.
It is hard to believe it has been a century since pioneers settled in the area and incorporated Morley Township... but it has!
In the early days the railway was the only real connection to the outside world and it was the rails that brought so many of the settlers to the Morley area.
They staked their land and began to clear it; making way for the rich soil that so many farms have become known as some of the best in the region.
Despite the railway’s pulling out of there decades ago, the town has continued to flourish and can safely boast about being a vibrant community with two schools, a church, an incredible recreation facility that has churned out some of the best curlers in the world; several strong businesses and of course the only cattle sales yard in the district.
Strattonians have a lot to be proud of this weekend and deserve to have a great party this weekend!
Congrats on your milestone and best wishes for the next 100 years!
–Until then,
Ken
