Don’t put so much stock in polls

Dear Editor,
In response to the letter that voiced disgust over the 65.8% of respondents saying they “never go” to Railroad Daze, I feel I must point out the fact that 65.8% of the 38 votes amounts to 25 people saying they “never go.”
Working with a population of 1000, you get 2.5% of people saying they “never go.” Is that really something to be digusted about? Let’s not put too much stock into an unscientific, voluntary response poll that has 38 votes.
