Myrtle Carolyn Lauzon, 105

Peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Rainy River Hospital, Mryte Lauzon passed away at the age of 105.
Myrtle was born in McIntosh, MN on November 24, 1905 to Oscar and Clara Skaalrud. She was the oldest of 12 children. Myrtle was united in marriage to Emile Lauzon and together they settle on a farm in Dilke Twp. Myrtle took great pride in her knitting, gardening and cake decorating.
Myrtle is survived by her son Gerald (Jean) Lauzon of Pinewood, Ont, her grandchildren Kenneth (Mona), Sandra Aidrie, Lestor (Kim), James (Valarie), and Cindy (Corey), her ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Myrtle is also survived by her sister Beatrice Watske, and sister in law Evelyn Skaalrud, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrytle was predeceased by her husband Emile and her 10 siblings.
A family service was held on Saturday August 27, 2011 from the Northridge Funeral Home, Emo, Ont. Rev. Eileen Bragg officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date.
