Riverview School holds a very sucessful fall book fair

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Fall Scholastic Book Fair at Riverview School. Also thank you to those parents who donated to the classroom wish list cash program.
The following students are greatly appreciated for their volunteer work… Victoria Lindal, Abby Tolen, Moriah Carradice, Kira Olson, Elizabeth Fraser, Madison Brown and Dakota Kreger. These students gave up their recess time to help move tables, set up the fair, make announcements and put things back in order after the fair.
Special thanks to Lisa and Jasmine Holmes who volunteered to work in the Book Fair on Open House night. The evening went smoothly because of them.
Congratulations to Carmen Gill, who won the Family Event draw. Carmen has been invited to choose $25.00 worth of books for herself, and Mrs. Bodnar has chosen $25.00 worth of books for the grades 2/3 classroom.
In order to qualify for a 50% commission in books for our library, sales needed to exceed $1500 before taxes. We did it! Our sales totaled $2016.16 before taxes, which will give us $1008.08 profit to spend on library materials! We are fortunate to live in a community that supports its schools so well!
