The Board is also pleased with the results of the Primary and Junior Assessments, with a significant increase over the past 5 years in the percentage of Grade 3 and Grade 6 students that participated in the assessment, which is clearly evident in the Board’s low exemption rate. The use of Assistive Technology has also allowed for the participation of a greater number of students with special needs.
