Sarah Campbell wins Kenora-Rainy River riding

Howard Hampton's handpicked replacement has won the Kenora-Rainy River riding.
With 195 of 198 polls reporting by Friday morning, Sarah Campbell won with 10,752 votes or 49.22% of the vote.
In second was PC candidate Rod McKay with 8,314 or 38.06% of the vote.
In third was Anthony Leek of the Liberal party with 2,173 votes, followed by JoJo Holiday (Green) 385 votes and Charmaine Romaniuk (NOHP) 219 votes.
Voter turnout was up 3% in the riding but was on par with the provincial average. 21,843 or 48.5% of eligible voters cast their ballots in Kenora-RR.
The NDP gained seven seats to hold 17.
The PCs gained 12 to hold 37 and the Liberals lost 19 to hold 53 seats; one shy of a majority government.
In the popular vote across the province the Liberals received 37.5%, PCs 35.3%, the NDP 23% and the Greens 3%
