Visitor restrictions imposed at Rainycrest

News Release

Due to an increase in the number of confirmed cases of gastroenteritis at Rainycrest Long Term Care, visiting will be restricted to family members only until further notice. Family members are asked to restrict their visit to the resident room and refrain from visiting other residents while at Rainycrest. All Group Programming by Activation will be cancelled also until further notice. Do not visit if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
Cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
Remember the best way to stop the spread of infectious diseases is to wash your hands frequently.

The Infection Control committee will continue to monitor the situation. A further update will be provided at a later date.
