The 8th annual Rainy River Alzheimer Dinner to Remember is pretty much sold out!
As of Monday all 100 tickets for dine-in plates were gone. About 10 take-out dinners were left and if they are not filled will be sold on Wednesday at Noon. The Record is taking names for the take-out dinners and for a waiting list should tickets become available.
Tickets on the Chairs for Charity raffle are going well and are available throughout the area.
The Penny Table will be open at the RR Legion at 4:30 p.m. this Sat. All are welcome to come in at that time, even if not attending the dinner, to enter the penny table or to buy tickets on the chairs. The dinner will follow at 5:30 p.m. with all draws being done after supper.
All proceeds from the dinner go to the Kenora-Rainy River Alzheimer Society to fund local programs.
