Peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the La Verendrye Hospital, Fort Frances, Ont with her family by her side, Lois Helder of Morson Ont, passed away at the age of 80.
Lois was born on July 7, 1931 in Rainy River, Ont to Arthur and Margaret Ricci. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Lois also had a great love for the outdoors on Lake of the Woods and watching her birds.
Lois will be lovingly remembered by her son Larry Brusven of Morson, Ont, and daughter Debra (Rex) Jim of Seine River, Ont. She will be greatly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings Margaret (John) Peterson, Leonard (Millie) Ricci, Phyllis Kreger, Earl (Liz) Ricci and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois was predeceased by her late husbands Ernest Brusven (1970) and John Helder (1988), her son Harley Brusven and her sister Shirley Bell.
A time of fellowship will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Morson Community Hall. Interment will take place in the Bergland Cemetery at a later date.
