Doctors found to cover RR medical facilities until late August

On behalf of the Riverside Health Care Facilities Inc. Board of Directors and C.E.O we would like to thank the residents of the Rainy River district for their patience during this trying time related to the recent resignation announcement of Dr. David Singleton.
We are working with our partners, Ministry of Health, Health Force Ontario, the North West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) as well as other community partners to try to identify strategies for more permanent solutions to the physician recruitment efforts for the Rainy River Health Centre. In the meantime we are pleased to advise that locum coverage has been secured until the end of August. This includes the clinic, the hospital, ER and Long Term Care facilities.
In continuing to be the centre of excellence and the leader in providing a continuum of service in Rural/Northern healthcare we will continue our efforts to find a permanent solution to maintain quality health care for the residents of Rainy River.
