Former RR man honoured

Editor's Note: Allan Amundsen grew up in Rainy River and graduated from RRHS in 1967. He still has famly here including Marie Kubera and John Amundsen.
Congratulations to Manitoba Institute member, Allan Amundsen, CPP/SCMP who will be the 2012 recipient of the Fellow Award, the association’s highest honour for achievements in career, community and with Purchasing Management Association of Canada.
Allan has worked in a multitude of supply chain positions throughout his career in both the public and private sector. He currently is employed by the Province of Manitoba, Department of Innovation, Energy and Mines.
“Allan inspires people to focus on excellence” says Marl-Ann Weber, the Nomination Committee Chairperson. He is a mentor to many and willing to share his knowledge and experience.
Allan is a former President and Executive Director of the Manitoba Institute of PMAC (MIPMAC); he has been a “high-energy” contributor since joining the association. Allan will be recognized by his peers at the PMAC National Conference in early June in Moncton, NB.
