Locals do well at EMX races in Emo

EMX (Emo Motocross) had a great race event on May 26th.
The rain held off for them to have a good practice Friday afternoon and the weather was perfect on Saturday for the races.
Anyone who has not been to the EMX track is welcome to check it out at the next event which will be the last one here in 2012. The next race is on June 16th.
Over 50 racers entered any where from 1 to 3 classes each. Turn out was not as good as expected but with the threat of a rain-out, some riders opted not to come.
Top local finishers were Dan Gavel from Stratton winning all 4 of his ATV motos; Avery Adrian from Emo finished up 2nd in the Junior class; Brady Love from Kenora winning the school boy class.
