Let's go to Summer Camp!

Camping season is fast approaching and the committee for the United Church Camp at Sunny Cove is busy preparing for another great week of camping from July 3 - 6. This camp is open to children ages 8 - 14 (or going into Grade 3 in September 2012).
What do seeds, yeast and pearls have in common? This years camp theme is “Kingdom Blogs, Jesus’ Stories Like You’ve Never Heard Them Before”. Come and join us as we learn about how we find God’s extraordinary love in our everyday ordinary moments. There will also be fun crafts to make, swimming, canoeing and friends new and old will be there too. There will also be the campfires, carnival night and everyone’s favourite, Talent Night just to keep everyone busy.
The objectives of this camp are to have fun and relax in the context of a caring community; To gain an appreciation of God’s creation through preservation and conservation in a natural setting and to experience spiritual growth with Christian people of all ages.
