Busy Canada Day planned for RR

News Release

A full day of fun is planned to celebrate Canada’s 145th Birthday this Sunday, July 1st.

Here are the activities as planned:

11:30a.m.-1p.m.
Join us for Canada Day Picnic and Activities (please bring your lunch and blanket)
1p.m.
Decorating bikes, trikes, wagons & strollers for the parade

1:30p.m.
The Youth Canada Day Parade
(Parade Route: starting at the park, up main street, turning right at Rainy River Hardware and follow 3rd street back to Hannam Park)

1:30-5p.m.
“Family Field Day” and “Minute to win it” games & races for all age groups including teens & parents

6-8 p.m.
Duck Race $5 per duck License # M697459 Drop of the ducks to take place near Millers Creek Ducks are being sold at the Legion and Bakery “All proceeds go towards Rainy River KidSport”
8-10p.m.
Public Roll ‘N ‘ Skate... Roll on down to the Arena there will be music, popcorn and strobe lights! Bring anything motorless on wheels * Please wear your helmets*

FIRE WORKS DISPLAY at Dark!! (Approximately 10p.m.)
