Chamber cancels trade show for this year

After much thought it has been decided that this year’s Rainy River and District Chamber of Commerce Trade show must be canceled, since we never met the “Break even” point and were looking at a loss which we could not afford. This has been a lesson and we will not abandon our spring date again.
That being said, I very much look forward to next year’s spring Trade show and thank everyone who registered with us for this year. If you plan to book a booth next year we can send you a receipt with your payment information and have you pre-booked for next year. If not we will be happy to return your payment.
A quick reminder that many have not made payment for 2012 membership dues.
We still plan to have our Christmas party along with a volunteer of the year award, I will be happy to accept nominations for this position any time. Since the position has not been filled for several years we can go back and fill in the previous years too, I will forward more info on this later.
