OLWS holds grad ceremonies

Our Lady of the Way School Grade Eight Graduation was held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. The graduating students were honoured by their parents, families and staff and community members.
Honor Roll winners Kurt Desserre and Caitlin Big George were presented medals for achieving an overall average of over 80%.
In addition, the following awards were presented: The Principal’s Award - Taya Stamler; Top Male and Female Athletes - Braydon Kreger and Taya Stamler; Proficiency in Ojibwe – Caitlin Big George; Proficiency in French – Halina Chojko-Bolec; Science Award – Caitlin Big George; Technology/Computer Award – Chase Anderson; School Council Arts Award – Debonair Phillips; Christian Attitude Award St. Patrick’s CWL Emo – Chandler Medicine; Christian Attitude Award Our Lady of Good Council CWL – Caitlin Big George; Christian Attitude Award K of C – Kurt Desserre; Overall Improvement Award Pinewood CWL – Taya Stamler; Most Faithful Server – Kurt Desserre; Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association Award – Kurt Desserre; and the Northwest Catholic District School Board Award – Kurt Desserre.
