Riverside announces Canada Day raffle winners
Riverside Foundation for Health Care is excited to announce the GRAND PRIZE WINNER of the $10,000 Canada Day Cash Lottery is Ray and Helen Cousineu of Fort Frances. The Cousineau’s are lucky people as two of the three tickets they bought were drawn and they won the 2nd PRIZE of two thousand dollars.
“It was an exciting call to make”, says Nicke Baird, Foundation Director. “I knew it was a bit late to be calling after the draw at 10pm but I figured they wouldn’t be upset as I was calling to tell them they just won $12,000!”
3rd PRIZE, one thousand dollars goes to Mary Cooper from Fort Frances. The remainder of the 4 CASH DRAW winners of five hundred dollars each goes to Betty Godin, Gary and Lori Durbin, Doreen Fryer and Renee Dumeney.
On behalf of the Riverside Foundation for Health Care we would like to express appreciation to the communities for supporting this fundraiser, the businesses that help sell the tickets and all the volunteers who help make this a success.
All proceeds from this draw will be used to support our local hospitals and long-term care facilities in Rainy River, Emo and Fort Frances.
