Five area girls seeking to be Emo Fair Queen!

Karly Caul
Hi, my name is Karly Caul and I am this year’s Miss Proshine for the 2012 Emo Fair queen pageant.
I live in Blackhawk and I am the daughter of Marvin and Sondra Caul. I have four siblings; two older brothers, Bradly and Tyson, and two younger sisters, Amy and Alayna.
I also am a proud auntie of my two nieces and one nephew. Their names are Isabella, Layla, and Layton.
I am 17 years old and will be entering Grade 12 at Fort Frances High School in the fall. While attending Fort High, I have taken part in the First Responders program and I have been a mentor for the past year.
After high school, I plan on attending college to pursue a career in dental hygiene.
I would like to thank my sponsor, Chad Jackson, for being very supportive and optimistic. I already can tell that he is going to be greatly involved with all my events.
I wish all the other contestants the best of luck! I’m excited for all the fun that is yet to come!
I encourage everyone to come out and join in on the fun at the Rainy River Valley Agricultural Fall Fair in August!

Jillian Gustafson
Hey, everyone, my name is Jillian Gustafson.
I am 17 years old and will be attending Grade 12 at Fort Frances High School this fall.
I am the honoured daughter to David and Brenda Gustafson. My sponsor is Gord McQuarrie, and he has been the best boss I could ask for.
He treats each and every staff member like family; he is exactly what you would look for in a boss. I also would like to thank him for being my sponsor.
I am also a competitive swimmer. My dream is to become a massage therapist and a personal trainer, plus a little bit of nutrition in there.
I chose to run in this event because I watched one of my best friends have one of the best summers she’s had. She met new people and most of all made new friends who she’ll cherish forever.
You’re only given one chance in life, so why not live it to the fullest, have fun, be outgoing, and show people that you’re not afraid of your fears but how you will conquer them.
Thanks to everyone who has bought a button from me, and good luck to each and every contestant.
