Morson W.I. gearing up for M.B.I.

The Morson Women’s Institute is busy collecting items for the silent auction and live auction to be held in conjunction with the Morson Bass International at the end of August.
For the past two years, the tournament has held a live auction following the boat parade.
This year will see a similar auction but also will include a 14 X 20 framed limited edition print, signed and number by the artist George Jenkins. The print is entitled “East Bound Freight” and was donated by Bill and Ronda Millar. The print depicts earlier days with the train coming into the station with water tank and grain silo in the back ground.
Proceeds for the print will go to the Rainy River House fund raising.
The Morson WI encourage those interested to come to the tent on Sunday, August 26th to watch the final weigh-ins and participate in the live auction as well as the silent auction table.
