Legion Chat: Dignitaries coming

Our dues have gone up to $40 per member because of Ontario's HST. Of the $40 our branch might receive $5.00 of it. The rest goes to Command, the magazine and taxes.
The Walleye Boat Raffle is proceeding at its normal pace, however we will have the boat in front of the Legion on Friday, September 21st, get out there and buy your tickets now. On this same evening we will be hosting the RRDFL banquet. The League is 50 years old this year. The Rainy River Legion was one of the founding teams.

We will be providing a Colour Party for the Boat Parade on September 27th at approximately 4 p.m. That day will also see a visit from the U.S. Legion National Commanders in the afternoon. These gentlemen also belong to our Legion as do all National Commanders. We would appreciate all members in attending this event.
