Legion Ladies Aux. News: Dues going up to $20 per year

The Rainy River Branch of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on September 12th with President Valerie Nelson presiding. After a two month summer break there was much to discuss.
Minutes of the June meeting were read and approved. Treasurer Donna Ivall gave her report on the auxiliary finances. A thank you card was received from the Rainy River High School graduating class of 2012.
We will be having a Garage Sale at the Legion on October 13th. Anyone with items to donate for this sale are asked to have them at the Legion by October 12th.
We will be catering to the Men's District Fastball Dinner on September 21st. It is their 50th anniversary celebration and awards night.
A motion was made and passed to raise the annual Auxiliary dues to $20.00 from $15.00. This was a necessity because of the raise in the per capita tax.
A note to all members. Please contribute articles for our Garage Sale. Also come and help out in anyway possible.
