Margguerita Loretta Anderson, 89

In loving memory of Loretta Anderson of Rainy River, Ontario who passed away on Tuesday February 8, 2005 at the Rainy River Health Centre in Rainy River.
Loretta was born on March 3, 1915 in Rainy River, Ontario to Garrett and Olive Byrnes. She was united in marriage to Lesley Anderson on July 26, 1938. They lived in Rainy River until 1958 when the family moved to Fort Frances. Loretta resided in Fort Frances until 2000 when she returned to Rainy River to be closer to family and friends.
She had been an active member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband Lesley in September of 1990; sisters Olive, Annie, Stella and Catherine and brothers Pat and wife Eva, Michael, Leo, Garrett, Delany, and Bruce son in laws Dennis Marchuk & Robert Fadden.
Loretta will be greatly missed by her 3 daughters Marlene and husband Donald Jarvis of Rainy River, Colleen Fadden and friends Lanny LaBelle of Sioux Narrows, ON and Phyllis and husband Claude Belanger of Terrace, BC.; son Leslie Anderson and wife Joan of Fort Frances,; grandchildren Todd (Amy), Corey (Tom), Tracey (David), Susan (Steve), Jimmy (Connie), Guy, Joleigh (Trevor) and Todd (Jenn); great grandchildren Michael, Alexander, Eric (Lindsey) Kristine, Cole, Cassandra, April, Brook, Taylor, Morgan and Samantha, great great granddaughter Shaylene; brother Oliver Byrnes of Winnipeg, MB and sisters-in-law Marjorie, Marie and Marj Byrnes as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral mass was held on Friday, February 11, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Rainy River, Ontario with Father Dan Debano officiating.
A prayer service was held on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 7 p.m at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Rainy River, Ontario.
Interment took place in Forest lawn Cemetery in Rainy River, Ontario. Pallbearers were Todd Marchuk, Jim Fadden, Tom Armstrong, Dave Jeffery, Eric Marchuk, Michael Matthew and Alex Matthew.
The honourary pallbearers were Loretta’s granddaughters, great granddaughters, great great granddaughter and many friends.
