Cattlemen elect new board members for 2013-14

The Rainy River Cattlemen’s Association held its Annual General Meeting two Thursdays ago in Stratton.
Elections were held without anyone contesting any of the seats.
Several board members have one year remaining in their terms. They are Joe Sletmoen, Steve Loshaw, Susan Irvine, Clayton Teeple, Bud McQuaker and President Murray McDonald.
Joining the directors by acclamation in all zones this year will be Zone A-Keith Caul, Zone B-Al Teeple, Zone C-Scott McNabb and Zone D-Corrie Govier and Daltan Martin.
Kim Jo Bliss was also acclaimed to be the Ontario Cattlemen’s Association Rep. with Joe Sletmoen named her alternate since she can not attend the OCA AGM.
Joining Sletmoen at the OCA AGM will be Bryan Kelly and Daltan Martin.
A motion was passed by the RRCA to also appoint Tom Morrish and Kim Jo Bliss to the District Vet Committee.
