Accomodation Review Committee struck for Stratton school

Our Lady of the Way School: Trustees approved the membership on the Accommodation Review Committee at its regular meeting February 19th. Members include: Mark Hyatt, Anthony Leek, Mary O’Connor, Sandy Nielson & Jack Vandenbrand, Community Representatives; Tara Hunter, First Nation Representative, Rainy River First Nations; Mary-Catherine Kelly, Director of Education, Chris Howarth, Superintendent of Business, Darlene Fejos-Rousseau, Principal & Nicole Wood, Teacher, who are Non-Voting Resource Members. The ARC will review the role of the committee, the Terms of Reference, and the committee will set the dates for the Public Meetings that will take place in the near future. The Board invites parents, guardians, students, school staff, school council members and the local community to attend the public meetings in order to ensure an open and informed exchange of views. There will be four public meetings between March through June to be held at Our Lady of the Way School. Details of the Public Meetings will be posted on the Board’s website, as the primary source of information, and they will also publish in the local newspapers. All relevant information relating to the Accommodation Review will be made available on the Board’s website http://www.tncdsb.on.ca.
The ARC will determine the public meeting dates on February 20, so we ask the public to watch for the upcoming meeting dates in their local newspapers and on the Board website.a
