Boat, motor and trailer stolen from cottage

On March19, 2013 officers of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Rainy River District Detachment received a report of a theft from a seasonal cottage in the Lake of the Woods Township.
Police investigation has determined the following property was stolen by culprits(s):
-One 1998 green and tan colored 17 Lund
-One 1997 green 115 hp Johnson motor
-One 2004 yellow and black Minkota electric motor
-One 1999 grey 9.9 Honda motor
-One 2006 grey EZ Loader trailer
OPP is seeking the assistance from the public in solving this theft. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
The public is reminded to secure all vehicles, personal property and buildings when not in use. Safe Guarding your home by installing light timers, having neighbours check on your property and removing valuable items from a seasonal residence are steps we can take to protect our property.
