Visitor restrictions begin at RR Hospital

Riverside Health Care Facilties

Due to a number of cases of gastroenteritis in the long-term care unit of the Rainy River Health Centre, visiting will be restricted to family members only until further notice.
Family members are please asked to restrict their visit to the resident room and refrain from visiting other residents while at the Rainy River Health Centre. All Group Programming by Activation will be cancelled also until further notice. Do not visit if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
-Cough,
-Fever,
-Runny nose,
-Sore throat,
-Nausea,
-Vomiting or
-Diarrhea.
Remember the best way to stop the spread of infectious diseases is to wash your hands frequently. Please use the hand sanitizers provided at the entrance when you enter and exit.
The Infection Control committee will continue to monitor the situation. A further update will be provided at a later date.
