RR Trade Show is this Saturday!

It’s going to be a full house at the Rainy River and District Chamber of Commerce’s annual Trade Show this weekend!
30 exhibitors have signed up and all the booth space has been spoken for at the Rainy River Arena. There will be something for everyone with exhibitors ranging from local businesses to local/area services. Food will also be available.
A new attraction will be the featuring of a classic car show. A number of years ago the Old Iron Classic Cars Club from Fort Frances attended the trade show. However, each year they were at the mercy of the weather. This year booth space in the middle of the arena has been sacrificed to allow the cars to be indoors!
Chamber of Commerce President Richard Trenchard is also excited about another new part of the trade show. “A new twist this year will be a passport system. Visitors get a passport at the door and take it with them around the area. When they visit a booth they can get their passport stamped. When they get ten stamps they drop it off at the Chamber’s booth and will receive a chance to win a Winnipeg Jets jersey signed by Jets alumni.”
Rainy River KidSport will also be at the trade show hosting a variety of activities for kids throughout the day.
Heaters have been retained in case it is a cold day. There is a $3 admission fee and doors open 10 a.m. and the show runs until 4 p.m.
