One person dies in Devlin Fire

At 4:45 a.m. today, Fort Frances OPP, the Fort Frances Fire Dept., and the ambulance service, along with the La Vallee Fire Dept. responded to a house fire at 3634 Hwy. 11/71 in Devlin.
Investigation has revealed that one occupant had died in the house fire.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted. At the present time, there has been no positive identification of the deceased.
Officers remain at the scene of the house fire as the investigation is still ongoing.
The Fort Frances OPP will be assisting the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal to determine the cause of the fire.
The Northwest Region Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Unit will be assisting in this investigation.
