RR seniors visit Spruce Creek Golf Course

Seven long term care residents from the Rainy River Health Centre enjoyed a beautiful day at Spruce Creek Golf Course in Morson on Thursday, August 15.
Upon arrival a volunteer took a resident in a golf cart for a ride around the course, up hills and down and checking for blueberries along the paths.
Many of the residents commented how difficult it must be to keep all that grass mowed and looking as pretty as it does.
Pictures were taken of everyone in their cart, then all enjoyed coffee, iced tea, and blueberry scones, the blueberries having been picked earlier at the course.
We would like to thank the volunteers that drove carts, assisted with serving food and helping people in and out of vehicles.
