Riverside Foundation dinner in Emo this Saturday
Boot-Scootin’ Fun is on the agenda for the Riverside Foundation’s Annual Dinner this year at the Emo Arena on September 14th as they throw an evening of Cowboys and Lace.
“We’re excited to have the event in Emo this year. We are a Foundation that supports all of Riverside’s Facilities in the district so we chose a central location this year”, explains Allison Hyatt, chair of the special events committee. “We’re planning another fun evening with dinner, games, dancing, drinks and entertainment-Cowboy style- with all the details still in the works.” adds Allison.
“This year the proceeds will support the purchase of a replacement Mechanical Lift in Emo Health Centre and an IV Pump for Rainy River Health Centre”, explains Nicke Baird, Foundation Director.
The Foundation invites everyone to attend. The dress is semi-formal and cowboy/western wear is encouraged. Gold, silver and bronze sponsored tables are also available for $1,500, $1,000 and $500 respectively. “We’ve already had great responses from local businesses and people donating great prizes for the live and silent auctions,” adds Baird. “If you’re looking to donate an item you can give me a call at 274-4803”.
This is Riverside Foundation for Health Care’s 15th Annual Fundraising Event with the proceeds going to the Digital Mammography campaign. Tickets are 50 dollars with only 250 available and corporate tables already being bought! You can get a ticket by calling 274.4803 or 276.0029 or if you would like to donate. They will also be available at all of the Riverside Facilities, Gillons’ and McTaggarts.
“The evening will be boot-scootin’ fun to support healthcare, we hope to see y’all there”, adds Baird. “
Limo service will be provided.
